Canby Music offers a variety of lessons Monday through Saturday Between 9am and 7pm. All of our lessons are taught by PROFESSIONAL musicians that specializing in the instruments they teach. A little about our Instructors:
Brian Haines (Guitar/Bass/Etc.) & "Nashville Matty" Botten (Drums/Guitar) are professional musicians that have performed together at well OVER 500 live shows at 100s of venues nationwide...even more in separate projects!
Founding members of 3 highly successful bands that originated in Oregon...MuchMore Country, Holy Cow & Still Standing...along with being Brandon Cash's official backing musicians, these two have done it all! Some of their many career highlights include playing the Oregon Jamboree with Gretchen Wilson & Keith Anderson, sharing the stage with Mark Wills, Trent Tomlinson, Emerson Drive (3 times now), Joni Harms & Josh Gracin.
Brian Haines
After completing High School here in Canby, Brian attended Musicians Institute in Hollywood California where here earned a degree in music business. He is a stringed instrument wizard, sings and also dabbles in various other instruments. Brian recently got married and purchased a new home in Canby.
"Nashville" Matty Botten
Matty is a Tigard High School graduate and United States Air Force Veteran. He is primarily a drummer & the lead repair technician at Canby Music, but also plays guitar and sings from time to time.
